All the off the shelf kitchen units include the cabinets, doors, handles, soft close hinges and all the components to assemble the cabinet and install them in your home. The instructions will guide you through, so as long as you have relatively strong DIY skills you will find it simple and logical to do.
Our manufacturer makes all our kitchen cabinets and doors in the UK, meaning we can work closely to ensure we have adequate stocks of all our products, so you won't get caught short.
What is the best material for kitchen cabinet carcass?
Most modern kitchen carcasses are made from MFC (medium density fibreboard). In our case, we use 18mm MFC. This offers a good alternative to the considerably more expensive solid wood carcasses but yet still offers a strong, durable long-lasting material.
How to Assemble off the Shelf Kitchens
All our off the shelf kitchens are made of cam and dowel construction. The offers the most practical way of self-assembly for kitchen cabinets that give a solid construction that is built to last. All our cabinets come with comprehensive instructions that mean putting the cabinets together is straight-forward to do. It will need two people to assemble and fit the kitchen cabinets in place.
All the units come with doors, hinges and drawer boxes, so once they cabinets have been installed all the relevant doors and drawer fronts can be fitted. They are all adjustable, so final tweaks can be made once all the units are in place and minor adjustments are needed to square off off the doors and drawers.
